Ah ... more a technical question

If anyone visits this forum just randomly, are they able to find out our emails?

Because I have been getting an awful lot of spam in my main email which is ONLY for relatives and such, when I've been trying to leave all teh spam crap to my gmail. :/
And the only thing I can think of (besides that stupid zen thing, but I unsubscribed from all of those) is that I joined this ... I just don't know. I try to be careful what sites have my email and make my profile as private as possible, etc. But I just keep getting more flipping spam.
It's just really frustrating because I've never had this issue, my main email has NEVER gotten spam before. :/
Or ... wait. Perhaps it had and it just deleted it right away, because i set it to one week in the spam folder so I could see 'em just in case they weren't spam.
So I suppose this whole dang post was pointless, fudgemuffins and fishsticks.

i havnt been getting any spam since signing up to these forums but keep an eye on it and let us know if it carries on and we can investigate

Alright.

now that I've been thinking of it though, it could be just because I changed my settings. Before, any spam I may've gotten was apparently sent to teh spam folder and deleted immediately but I wanted to make sure no good emails went there so changed it to a week. Perhaps I've been getting loads of spam and just never noticed until now. :S

At least I've not been getting any 'gross' spam. Just stuff about winning free flights and college tuition and mortgages and some type of prescription drug and such.
